Default What does villian have

Well so I played a really solid game and tried to play the tightest game I know how...
You guys are gonna find this funny for all you nits out there but my tightest session ever was this one.

my stats were 17/12
win rate of 29.83BB/100

Of course it helps when you flop sets, and full houses, and hit your flushes on the river and get calls on every street..

One thing Im also learning is its better not to shove a flush draw even with 2 overs or a pair... It's seemed like the past couple days I've either not hit or hit but they had a set and redrew to win..

oh well... Well let me know what you guys think of this hand.. its just about the only one I lost that was of any size. I kind of feel like I lost the minimum, thought for a second I should slow down on the turn just because he hadnt really called any of my c-bets

Stats/reads on villain would help here to give a better idea of his hand ranges. I would say a retardly played 22,77 or something like A9s. wen he check min raises the river I think you are almost always beat.

He's a regular and actually a pretty solid player I would say. Haven't played too many hands with him though.

Knew I was beat on the river with the min raise but I also thought he might try that line with air since I was playing pretty tight.

I mean I have to call a min raise right... just getting too good of odds. getting like what 5 to 1... how do I not call...

Stats are 17/10 total aggression being a 1.6
but I only have 447 hands on him

Hi. yea, I agree stat would help, otherwise A9 is my hand for this guy, though 77 is quite possible. no danger on the flop and turn from you. But it is still bad play, cause you could check behind on the river and loose value from his strong hand

Anytime you have strong you should make strong bet or affecting bet, check is just bad.IMHO

anytime you see me put IMO or IMHO [= I had some alcohol

Yeah I'd call too getting such a good price. Also because after seeing what he has you can take note of his hand and how he played it which might help you in future hands against him.

no idea

it either a set or an ace that rivered to pair. Either way your 1 pair is beat on the river I think and the fold was correct.

oops just realised that you called and not folded. Nasty hand history you got there, leggopoker has a good converter for stars.

the call on the river was correct, even if you are behind, odds were too good to fold.

Padawan, you need to not think like this. if you have a hand like AKss and have a flush draw on the flop, you are a head of a 1 pair hand with about 54% equity in this hand. so you want to get as much money in while you are a favorite to win. The times that villian has a set and redraws are just coolers.

if you hit your flush you will rarely get much action out of the villian. so try to get him to put his stack in while you can. again you are a favorite. you cannot be results oriented.

i started doing a lot better once i realized this and started making more money as well
