Default 25NL vs shortish stack

How do I approach this river. I've only just sat down at the table so villain is an unknown

I think he is drawing to the straight or the flush , so if you bet he will fold to any bet on the river. As played I'd check and call any river bet. This way we induce might induce a bluf from a missed straight or flush draw. If he was drawing to the nut-flush and hit the ace on river, nothing much you can do about it.

ps: bet more on the turn.
ps: difficult and interesting hand, I'm actually not sure what I would do.

Check. Call most bets.

as said. check and call most bets. you really are not going to get value from anything that you beat if you bet so you might as well check and hope he bluffs or bets with a weaker pair.

I actually think I'd be c/folding this a lot. I'm definitely checking, and folding to anything over 1/2 pot I guess.

Yeah this is what I did, he bet $7 and I folded but didn't feel good about it.

It depends I think your opponent may have been on a nut flush draw. Maybe throw a blocker bet out there, but this is tough. He may bluff you with a missed flush draw other then the nut if you check.

I C/F. Too many 2 pairs or AsXs that beat us.
