Default Too weak with AKo?

Third AKo follow up. I did find another AK hand where I didn't get stacked, but I'm not really thrilled with this either.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BTN: $65
SB: $20.95
Hero (BB): $25
UTG: $7.90
CO: $23.40

CO posts $0.25
Pre-Flop: Kc Ad dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG folds, CO checks, BTN raises to $1.10, SB folds, Hero raises to $3.65, CO folds, BTN raises to $10.50, Hero calls $6.85

Flop: ($21.35) 3h 2s Tc (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $54.50 and is All-In, Hero folds

Results: $21.35 Pot ($1.05 Rake)
BTN mucked and WON $20.30 (+$9.80 NET)

______________

Most stealers fold to a 3B PF which is why I flatted and folded.

When I 3B AKo OOP, I feel like it instantly gets turned into Fit or Fold. If I get called and don't hit TP, now what? If the board comes 642r, I can barely c-bet. If it comes Q42, I can c-bet, but if called, I'm check/folding the turn. Seems really weak and seems to happen a lot. I think I should be playing AKo aggro in EP, but it also seems like I'm leaking money there.

Ship it in preflop, especially Button vs. BB. Calling and playing fit or fold is a big mistake here.

yeah, either ship it in or fold, based on your opponent's read
You can't put half of your stack preflop and fold on the flop.

Calling the 4bet OOP is really bad. Usually shove or sometimes fold depending on villain.

Ok. I've been reading your comments on all my AK posts.

I'm thinking of taking this approach. If I 3B with AKo and get 4B, I'm either AI or fold. Against a tightish player def fold. Readless, I'd lean toward fold. Against a loose player, push. Eradicate the call button from my option set here.

If I 3B and get 4B AI, I'm folding. Assuming 100BB eff stacks, he overbet the 4B and is ready to roll. I'm probably splitting the pot AT BEST.

If I raise and get 3B, I'm putting in the 4B. The problem here is if he pushes, I have committed ~40% of my stack, but I'm pretty sure I'm beat. Kinda sux. With AKs at least I can hope to flush. With AKo I'm in real trouble.

Sound reasonable?

I think, that you should take position into account, too. If villain is UTG, than lean towards folding (if he limp-raises or 4bets you), but if villain is on the Button or it's Blind versus Blind, than be more inclined to ship it in.
