Default Session Review: Intersting hand #1

Just played a fairly descent session and had quite a few interesting spots come up that I wanted to go over for some thoughts. This first hand had a mega calling station as my opponent. He has been playing 56/5.6/.89 over 150 hands. He has called down multiple pot sized bets from me w/ draws. My notes are VALUE BET BIG AND DON'T BLUFF.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($24.55)
SB ($107.90)
BB ($52.75)
Hero (UTG) ($98.20)
MP ($25)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K
Hero raises to $1.75, 1 fold, Button calls $1.75, SB calls $1.50, 1 fold

Flop: ($5.75) 9, 10, 6 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6, 1 fold, SB calls $6

Turn: ($17.75) 7 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $10, SB calls $10

River: ($37.75) 10 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero ?????

What do we do with this river?

I check behind most of the time unless he's going to be calling down w/ bottom pair or something. Heart draws arn't going to pay you off so the only hands we're really getting value from are A9 type hands. I think you're getting called by better way too often for a value bet to be +ev.

I don't see any reason to bet here. You will only get called by better or raised off your hand. Even if he is a fish, its better to just play it safe and check behind. Also, I'd bet a little bigger on the turn, maybe $14.

I would bet bigger the turn and check behind the river.
I think we loose quite often here with betting and calling shove.

Pot turn, check river.
I really don't see, why we should bet the river. Only hand that might call us here is A9, but every T and every 8 beats us and there should be quite a lot in his range.

The guy's a calling station... so bet/fold something that he'll call with worse. Something like 1/3 pot sounds good to me. Your flop/turn bet sizes are perfect imo.

I really like value betting thin but I check behind here simply because it is way too thin. I feel like he's gonna C/fold or C/minraise more often than C/call with worse. Unless he's a REALLY big calling station, calling down with 22 here or something. But in that case you probably would've known what to do and wouldn't have posted this HH here, right?

Pretty clear check behind IMO.

Def go closer to pot on the turn.

If you would have gotten c/r on the turn this would have been a much more interesting spot.
