Default Session Review: Hand #4

Villain is a pretty solid player and also tricky. I think I know the person, but they won't acknowledge me.

You seem to be betting 1/2 pot on the turn in almost all these hands. Is there some reason for that? This weak bet size might have induced this raise. I call here.

Good point, bet at least 2/3 especially BvsB. More likely he has A or even 2p.
but you have to call for 12 outs

I don't put him on a lone A here. Why should he raise /w a weak A?
His range is 2pair+ and bluffs. So if you think, that he folds to a donk on a club river, just fold, but if you think, that he can't let a 2pair go here => call and make a huge donk-bet if you hit your flush/straight.

Does everyone agree with his preflop raise? 87s OOP? If you call his turn raise and dont hit on the river, you lost alot of money on a possible folding preflop hand in the sb. Any thoughts?

I raise it up /w 87s from time to time against a tricky BB.

I'm fine with your bet sizing fwiw... though I wouldn't go any smaller than $5 there.

As for what to do... this is just a really really easy call. If you raise and he wasn't bluffing you're just getting money in bad, and if you're behind you've got tons of outs... Then if he is bluffing you your hand is probably good anyway and there's no reason to raise since he'll just fold.

I'm not necessarily folding the river unimproved, although it's fairly likely that I'd fold unimproved.
