Hand number one: Tough spot. Totally read dependent. Have you been playing tight or have you been raising alot? Maybe the best thing to do is to fold? I don`t like to go all-in with just one pair on the flop, especially if it`s multiway. Hand number two: blocking bet? |

Well, the problem in the first hand is: If we call, how do we play the turn? Ppl on 25NL do ne raise-bluff here imo, so he has 2pair+ or a draw. So do you check to him and give him a free card or do you donk? I think, that raising here is not tooo good, too, cause we are quite deep and it's a 5way pot, so it's not unlikely that he hit something strong. So i think, that folding might be best here... but in the heat of the battle, I might play it another way. Hand 2: Bet 7$ and fold to a raise or just c/f. |

Hand 1 is so gross. Everybody calls so now you're playing for stacks versus a tighty with 150bb's. I don't know what his reading ability is, but it's pretty obvious you're not cbetting when so many people see the flop. He has to put you on AJ at minimum, and I don't think QQ or AJ wants to raise knowing you're likely not cbetting. I say he has 44's or 66's, maybe JJ's. The screwy raise (.25 less than a perfect 3x raise) looks like he wants to get it all in on the turn. Very unlikely he's info raising here. Someone 19/11 tends to flat more with "showdown" hands. I'm 19/11 a lot, and I'll flat JJ and AJ here preflop almost always, QQ sometimes. But postflop, I'm flatting AJ and raising JJ here always. With QQ tho, in this spot, I think I'm still likely to call with position. And I just don't think you're getting semibluff raised in this big a pot very often to worry about it at these stakes. Even if he's got a huge draw on the flop, it only makes your equity a little less of a dog, so I don't think it should go too much into your thought process. Having the King of diamonds gives you extra outs with your hand. It's not so bad. Board: 6d Jd 4d Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 33.636% 33.64% 00.00% 3330 0.00 { KdKh } Hand 1: 66.364% 66.36% 00.00% 6570 0.00 { JJ, 66, 44, 8d5d } But I think the smart play is to fold.
