Default 50NL : TPTK facing check raise

Vilain is 16/15/26 (agg freq) ~30 hands

Please tell me what's his range, what you do and where your equity comes from and justify. Thanks.

You need to give us some details or history on the villain. Against a complete unknown, easy fold...

his range includes pocket 4s, sometimes limped 9s. Q9 and Q4 is totally out of the question, unless he is a complete idiot. Does he check raise often?

I see this as an easy fold, even though there is only 2 possible hands really that he could have.. Unless he checkraises draws?

I think you misread the hand : Vilain is the one calling from the blinds and not the limper. I don't have much more information about him. We only played 35 hands together. He has played a tag style and I have never seen him do anything special.

It looks like 44 or 99.

I'm calling here and letting him bet into me on the turn if the flush doesn't hit. KQ very much is in his range here as well as some draws. If the flush completes, I'll let it go to a bet.

That play also has cycled my mind... But I don't think he would check-raise KQ in that spot with a 4.5x raise... This is a tough spot for me as sorta a newb... Mxrider's route is definitely an option.

edit: and the option I'm probably going to go with... Good chance is that you're probably going to face a pretty large turn bet regardless because I honestly believe that the only thing he's check-raising with is 44 or 99.

Just a thought... but I've seen people flat KK and AA out of the blinds to try and intice the limper to come along.. Granted this is dumb but I have seen it.

looking at his line at bet amount and also that he is reg, he would definitely 3bet button with KQ+, so I don't think that's the case here. To me it more like combo draw OESD+FD or set.
Unfortunately we can't fold TPTK so I would call here, and depending on card, his timing and bet size will decide.

if we 4bet him, hoping for FE, it's note gonna work. Folding is also not an option unless you are complete nit who plays monsters only.

One thing Loicve please include in the next threads his 3bet activity and blinds fold
