Default JJ in BB

Villain is 57/14/2.5 over only 14 hands so not a great amount of info. Only hands shown so far was 47s from MP. I was concerned by the call on the flop with the overcard but on reflection I'm not happy with my check on the turn. With the flat call on my reraise I didn't put him on a premium hand like QQ+, AK. What are your thoughts?

well played. fired once got called. just what was his cbet fold stat? - this is for full stack

BUT not here you can't fold having such great odds, and actually you should be shoving yourself. You will see him with underpair more times then Q or even straight bluff

If he wins, no problem. He is a donkey and you'll get his full stack later

For info, his fold to cbet was 50% over 2 occasions.

I think you played it fine PF and on the flop. I would just stick him in on the turn b/c he's only got the $0.47 and he just might fold to that bet. Also, there is a good chance you are up against a smaller pair b/c at this limit, people hate to let go of pocket pairs...and a decent chance you are up against a random A-rag type hand that people hate to fold.

I don't like the shove on the turn as he will only call with better. By checking, we give him the opportunity to bluff/valuebet w/ worse. I like the check/call on the turn.

Thanks all. I did indeed c/c the turn and he showed TT & I took down the pot. Reason I posted was that I wasn't sure if I played optimally or whether I just got lucky.

Cheers.

Haha, nice. People should post more hands where they succeed.

Actually i like the c/c line as it allows villain to attempt a bluff.
