Default BB speshul

Relatively new to the table, initial read is that both players appear to be loose/passive

easy fold. 2p are no good against raise and reraise. At this time you didn't invest a lot in this pot. And probably you would be behind set or fd.

But in this situation it's different, Cause shortie pushed so he more likely doesn't have that strong of a hand. I would probably flat here. And reevaluate on the turn.

SO both ways possible. jusy depends how you feel it and know you opponents.

Flatting is horrible..... what if the minraiser flats also and a heart peels or the straight draw comes in? You will be in a pretty marginal spot.

I'm arrrrrr in, only 66 has us in bad shape, 88 is unlikley since we hold an 8 and AA is unlikely due to preflop action.

I'm reshoving here to isolate shortie. If we happen to be behind to a set, we have some outs to fill up with a better boat. If against a flushdraw, we are ahead

I'm shoving too. 66 has you in bad shape, but it's more likely that you are up against Ax or some sort of straight or flush draw hand.

There are only 3 combos of 66, 1 combo of 88, and 1 combo of AA (not to mention that it doesn't make sense given the preflop action). This is an easy shove.

I'm going to have to disagree with r8tme as well.... I read his post as "an easy fold" and just watching how the hand was played I say I'm shoving to put pressure on the player who 2x'ed.

2x is a cheesy, cheesy way to say "I'm so strong" or is the cheapest attempt to try to gain control of the betting so he can see his draw the way he wants to see it. In a draw-heavy board like that I think he's just trying to make his draw look like something worth fearing.

I'm pushing. The short stack could've limped with Aces trying to be cool, let it happen. He very well could've limped with 88 (also highly improbable) or 66 and caught it... But since a lot of the times short-stackers are idiots (no offense, but the short stack often indicates their play is weak)... They try to get away with limping hands like AJ, AQ, AK and they think it's brilliant.

If they did flop a set, you still have 4 outs (which isn't much) but you may just be making a loan. I'm definitely willing to get it in with a short stack if I'm pretty strong like that (top 2 pair)... Just because I stack more shorties in the long run.

I want to know how it turned out for richyl, I'm assuming he called and found out it was a set, lol.
