Default Playing 10-10 from BB

Cake Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.04 BB (5 handed) - Cake-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($5.03)
SB ($10.08)
Hero (BB) ($4)
UTG ($1.18)
MP ($1.99)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10, 10
UTG calls $0.04, 1 fold, Button raises to $0.18, SB calls $0.16, Hero?

Total pot: $0.44 | Rake: $0.44

First hand I get when I sit down is this one so no reads on the other players. I generally struggle with what to do in these situations. What do you guys think?

Assuming button isn't a complete nit, definitely 3b. Villain's range is widest on the button, sb just flatted, & utg just limped, so our 10's are almost always good here. Calling isn't good because you lose initiative and the flop will most likely contain overcards, which makes it trickier to play, especially oop. The fact that our hand is probably good vs villain's range on the button + the dead money from the sb & utg make this an easy squeeze 3b. Fwiw, you should make the 3b larger than normal, as you ideally want to TID now.

because this is 4nl at cake everything changes lol.
talking from 4nl experience i just fold this. Pick a more dominating spot because people at these stakes just hate folding after they have limped into the pot or cold called. Expect to get called by AJ,QK,KJ,AQ etc.

yeah, I think I like flat calling and set mining here more than 3betting or folding. I agree that 3betting at these stakes won't likely get a fold and then you are in the same situation only with a bigger pot. It is very likely that one of these people will call you. Folding doesn't seem that great either.

Thanks for the responses to this one. It never occured to me to try and squeeze the original raiser, (and I think Dansiek is right...both guys probably would have called my raise) but I did consider calling and setmining since both guys had larger than full stacks. I ended up folding though.

Folding ANY pocket pair in that situation is not nitty, but just PLAIN STUPID. It's 3.5bb to call and 100bb eff. stacks, so you get something like 1:25 odds... TT also has a lot of showdown value..

Even if they would call you every single time you squeeze, it would still be +EV move. So raising isn't bad either.

Yeh, incredibly nitty = very bad. I can't believe anyone would fold here considering that we have the best hand here almost always...... since you don't seem to want to play a pot with TT OOP then raise it up to increase your chances of getting to the flop heads-up or even take it down straight away. TT should almost never be played for set-value in a 6max game.
