Default TPTK vs?

weaktight | Hand | QKo - $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Holdem

I feel confortable playing KQo in UTG, so I don't think that's the problem

Preflop is fine, but your cbet was waaaaay too small should be around 22c if not more, particularly as it's a multi-way pot.

Once you are raised it's kind of a marginal spot, especially with your small cbet. As played I think I like a shove, you just got unlucky this time

yeah i try and stay away from KQo UTG at 2nl.
But as played make a larger c-bet and you must have had some kind of read on villain because it is as richy says a marginal spot.
Ul tho.

If you feel comfortable playing KQ utg at a 6max table then it's not a mistake to do so..... just depends on what you are comfortable doing

Im not saying playing KQo UTG is a bad play at 6 max, but it just isnt that profitably at 2nl imo.

I think it's weird that people are harping on preflop when that's the only part of the hand that wasn't horribly mangled. Sticking in 160bbs with TPGK (a king is not the top kicker here) against a total unknown at 2NL is really, really bad.

If you arn't prepared to fold top pair decent kicker no matter the action then you shouldn't be playing KQo UTG.
