Default 2 pair hands

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($33.55)
Hero (SB) ($25.10)
BB ($10.25)
UTG ($80.60)
MP ($50.55)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5, A
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.25) 4, A, 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.60, UTG raises to $7.05, Hero raises to $24.10 (All-In), UTG calls $17.05

Turn: ($50.45) Q (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($50.45) 10 (2 players, 1 all-in)

I was contemplating folding because he could already have a straight or a flush but I knew I couldn't just call, it was shove or fold. Villain is 25/7 over 288 hands.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (MP) ($30.95)
Button ($77.60)
SB ($81)
BB ($26.85)
UTG ($20.55)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 10, Q
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.85, Button calls $0.85, 2 folds

Flop: ($2.05) 10, Q, 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.50, Button calls $1.50

Turn: ($5.05) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $3.50, Hero raises to $8, Button calls $4.50

River: ($21.05) J (2 players)
Hero bets $7, Button raises to $67.25 (All-In), Hero folds

Total pot: $35.05 | Rake: $1.75
I checked the turn because he has called my cont bets numerous times and when i checked on the turn, he always fired out. I think my raise should have been at least 3x. I put out a small bet on the river so I could fold to a shove if he did hit the flush. Villain is 51/34 over 181 hands.

First hand is okay, but I'd prefer a larger iso-raise when in the sb -- otherwise just complete the blind. On that kind of flop I would be very cautious against a weak/tighty like the villain in question. He's just very unlikely to show aggression without a very strong hand -- I'd actually just call his flop raise and plan on getting it in on a safe turn.

Second hand -- as you said the turn c/r was too small. Make it larger next time and shove any river. As played I'm still not sure that it's a river fold given how crazy villain seems to be and how much weakness you show with the blocking bet.

Hand #1 : Ugh. I'm on the fence with this one.

He smooth calls preflop, but then his raise on the flop is huge, like he wants you to fold?

I guess I'd want to see him play more to see how strong he has to be before he'll raise like that. I'm shoving that against a lot of $25NL players, especially if they don't have a full stack ... but against this guy I just feel like he has a set.

I thought maybe AK with the Kd, but would he smooth call pre with that? I don't think he has a flush. I think either a set or an ace with a decent kicker.

I like your play to shove though and not call. You are right that it's either fold or shove. To be honest I probably shove there too. I'm curious to see what he turned over.

Hand #2: I agree the turn check raise should be bigger on such a drawy board. Beyond that I like your play, taking advantage of his tendencies.

#1 stinks like a set...

#2: Need much bigger CR there... I'd do 3.5x MINIMUM (then again I think I'm a little more aggressive than some are going to recommend). The fold isn't bad.... I'm just trying to think what he'd be on here... K9? Think he would smooth with AK? He may have actually had a legit queen with you with the better kicker and hit a jack on the turn... It's so much tougher when you're not the aggressor, LOL.
