if you put him on A then it was one dumb move to reraise and call a shove. get the free card, and when your double gutter hits then shove or 3bet.

Can you include reads on villain? Its so hard to give advice when it comes to unknowns. I think its a fold as played however. He 3bet overshoves 5 into like .42. Honestly, don't know what you were expecting. You are behind his entire range. At the moment you have a 5 high... If you think hes a donk, just wait till you hit your draw, and then stack him. Hes going to play bad either way. You have 8 live outs, which means you have roughly 32% equity. However with his range, he could have a set a lot, so your true equity against his range is actually lower. If I'm doing my math right, you are going to need like a 3:1 odds in order to call. And even then, with a draw you are going to want to be the raiser in order to get fold equity. lol at villain overshoving that flop with top pair ten kicker. |

As played this, is HOW NOT to play a double gutter ^^. The funny thing here is, He has the 3nd worst hand possible. He only beats 23 and 25. lol, And he is giving away all his implied odds by getting it allin on the flop. |

I bet out all day long. Seriously, what's with the checkraise? It's like you thought you had nothing at first so you checked but then you noticed a double gutter and was like "omg I have to do something" and raised. Play double gutters same as your open enders, there is little difference between the too. It's just harder to put someone on a double gutter but it's not like an opponent with 72 VPIP cares what you have at all. |
