How to Get the Best Responses to Your Hand Histories--PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING
If you follow the suggestions outlined below, discussion of hand histories will be more productive for the people posting the threads and the people responding to the threads: 1) Usually post 1 hand history per post - If you have 2 or 3 hands that are played against the same villain or involve the same concept, feel free to include them in the same post, but please don't post 5 unrelated hand histories in the same post. 2) Convert your hand histories - PokerTrikz has a built-in hand history replayer, and Trikkur has made a video showing how to use it. Also, there are many websites where you can input a raw hand history and the site will output a converted hand history that you can paste into your thread here. 3) Leave out results - Including results in your hand history will often cause people to give results-oriented feedback about your hand. If you want to leave in results to complain about a bad beat or brag about a great play you made, the thread belongs in the BBV forum, not the strategy forum. 4) Include stats, reads, and relevant history with villain - The more information you provide about villain, the better responses you will get. If villain is unknown, say that and explain why (e.g., you just sat down, he just sat down, or you're 24-tabling without a HUD and you're not loltrickedu).
