Should I have folded here?

Playing PokerStars $25 NL 6max.

I'm on the button w/ AQo . SB, BB, and I all have about $30 stacks.
Folded to me and I raise to $1. SB and BB call.
Flop comes A J 8 rainbow. SB checks, BB bets 25% pot, I flat call (SB has c/r a lot of flops and I think he might be up to something), SB flat calls.

Turn brings a Q, and a flush draw, giving me top 2.

SB checks, BB makes another 25% pot bet, I raise about 80% pot, SB now pushes all in.

I was thinking that if the BB called, I would have to fold, as I was probably already up against at least a set and probably a straight. If he folded, I would probably call.

BB called. I folded. SB had AJ for flopped top 2. BB had AK. I folded what would have been the winner in a 360bb pot.

Should this be a fold or a call?

I really need to see what the overall pot size is and the actual betting here. Can you post the actual hand history? You can use this for a converter:

I call here a lot. You are getting great odds with top 2 pair and you are most likely up against other two pair type hands. You are only really losing to 88, 9T, KT.

Try not to think in hindsight. Poker is about making the correct decisions regardless of the outcome. Don't ever let the outcome of a hand influence your decision making or thought process.
