Default set on a str8 flush turn

Do you keep betting on the turn or shut down? Continuing to bet pretty much turns our hand into a bluff which I think is bad at the micros. Maybe another bet folds out a straight or baby flush, but at 10nl I doubt it. I still have 10 outs if called, though. I tanked here and didn't know what to do at all. Bet/fold the turn as a semi-bluff or shut down?

I bet bigger on the flop, but otherwise, I play it the same. The board is so scary that it will be very hard to get value with bottom set there. And you don't want to be trying to push a 10NL player off straights or flushes.

I bet full pot on flop. On the turn, I check back. On the river, I'll v-bet here a lot, and fold to a check/raise.

Isn't this a bit thin though? Villain will even c/f top 2 pair on this board wont he and we may just be value towning ourselves for the times he c/c with a J or like the 8s.

I have to agree.. betting the river just seems spewy... might as well turn your hand into a bluff... Trikkur please explain exactly why... and what he calls with that we beat... I am not understanding a value bet at these limits...

I think the way it was played is fine including the bet amounts (why chuck more money away than is needed). PSB's and the like are probably only going to get called by the flush (or in the case of a thinking opponent cause you to fold to a check raise).

I see this as being the case on the river if you bet as well. A lot of flushes will call and if we get check-raised then we have to fold (as we are beaten by any flush and the non-flush str8).

love this one. drawheavy board on flop, so make cbet for pot. bet river. if he is playing a flush (I hate slowplayers!), then he will checkraise. then fold. next hand....
