Default QQ on drawy board with overcards

Villian seemed like a pretty solid player. He wasn't playing a ton of hands and wasn't a maniac.

Cake Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.04 BB (5 handed) - Cake-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($2.48)
MP ($9.63)
Button ($7.30)
Hero (SB) ($4.04)
BB ($2.72)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q
UTG calls $0.04, 1 fold, Button calls $0.04, Hero bets $0.18, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.14, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.44) 8, A, K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.30, UTG calls $0.30

Turn: ($1.04) 2 (2 players) Hero?
---
1) Should I Cbet this flop? I would think his range for calling is filled with aces and kings, but even if he has one or the other, I still have 9 outs to the nut flush plus my other two queens (assuming he doesn't have Pocket AA or KK)
2) Since he called, should I double barrel here or should I check/call? check/fold?

Your raise preflop is waaaay too small. You're OOP and the flop is going to have an A/K something like 1/3 of the time. Don't be lazy and just pot-raise, make it 4bb+1bb/limper minimum when OOP. When in position potting is just fine, but not from the blinds.

As played I like your flop bet. It allows you to get stacks in by the river when you hit the flush, and you'll get some Kx hands to fold which is obviously good. On the turn I'd probably double barrel because there's just a ton of hands that villain can call on the flop with and you can easily rep top pair or better.

If he raises it's probably time to fold, but that's not a disaster. So I'd make it about $0.65 and take it from there.

Thanks for the comments. I struggle with bet sizing from the blinds especially. So many micro players won't fold if they have money in already and if they have an ace in their hand and they have money in forget about it...haha.

I ended up ck/calling a $1 bet on turn and ck/folding when a blank came on the river.

Preflop is fine.

Yes you should cbet this hand every time because you don't want to be bluffed off the best hand by like JcTx betting and you will improve to the best hand a lot.

You can play this hand 1 of 2 ways on the flop, cbet larger than usual and hope to take it down by folding hands that have you currently beat like K9 A2 etc (.38) or to cbet smaller on the flop as a blocking bet (.25) and get your value when you make your nut hand (since villains dont ever have AA or KK here both of your queens are nut cards)

4.5bbs OOP with 2 limpers? I'd make it 6bbs.
