It really depends on who you are playing against, against a nit, reg, or someone who will play standard there is nothing wrong with flatting IP. A lot of the times you are just folding out the hands that you beat when you 3b with TT, JJ+ and AK obviously aren't folding to a 3b, AJ/AQ might fold out but they only out flop you 1/3 of the time and the flop can always come Q/J T x and you make a decent amount.
If you are going to 3b TT I suggest doing it from the blinds where it becomes more of a 3b for value and not as a bluff. If you are 3b TT IP you might as well do it with 64o since when you take down pots preflop your actual cards don't matter. TT is too premium to not see a flop.
