Default oop vs bluffy player with 2d pr and draws

Only a small sample on villain, but he is 60/5/8. His fold to c-bet is 33 and his raise c-bet is 33 (always a min-raise).

Should I have folded to the flop min-raise? I thought there was some chance my hand could be good, and with the gutshot to the nut straight and the backdoor nfd, I decided to call.

Do you bet the turn? I have 12 nut outs and second pair, express pot odds of 3:1 and good implied odds of around 5:1. When the river bricks, I just give up.

How could I have played this better?

Oh, yeah, UTG is new to the table, posted and folded pre.

Going off your read that he likes to bluff I think the flop call is fine. I also think your turn call is fine as well. I have found that people will rarely bluff on the river and when they do they bluff big. When they bet around half pot they want calls and they have huge hands so I think the fold here was the right play since all you really beat is a total bluff.
The re-raising on the flop or raising his turn bet would have been the only thing you could have done diffrent and you would have to have a hell of a read on this guy to make that play since you would basically be turning your hand into a bluff.
I think the way you played the hand was pretty standard. I assume you would have prolly folded on the turn if your flush draw wouldnt have got there?

I think guys like this raise any TP on flop to get info. Maybe even 2nd pair. But 3 barrels narrows it more towards TP or better. And he's willing to pay a lot of money to see if his TP is good at times.

So with the broadway gutshot on flop, will we get paid?. Only if we think villain is raising some draw at times also and he'll call a turn and maybe try to bluff river. Otherwise, board is JKTQx, assume no 3 flush, we start firing or check/rasing, villain pays us off hoping we're on complete bluff? Maybe. But not nearly enough to make the flop call profitable.

So to make it profitable, we have to start bluffing even more cards, like the board pairing T or even turn 3 flush. We got the Ad so that's what we're hoping to do right? Because I know we're not thinking of c/c'ing to river hoping to a hit a diamond!

OOP with some outs. If we're not gonna make a move on this pot and not make villain lay down his K4, we bet/fold flop. This may just bet the best play in a vacuum vs this villain.

But our history of villain says his range is so wide, and he's raising so much, he doesn't rate to felt here. So with the general idea that we can't c/c to river, aggroing is the better alternative.

Bet/3bet flop, fold to push (EDIT: DO NOT FOLD TO PUSH, gamble on flop if we 3bet) . If villain just calls our 3 bet, we still have outs or he's on some draw himself or isn't ready to fold Kx. Turn is diamond, check, if villain has K4, he's gonna be real uneasy about firing a 3 flush turn with the flop action. If we feel villain gets flustered and starts trying to bluff the turn with K4, we can C/R profitably with outs . Villain may call with a big hand like flop straight or 2 pair or even turned flush, but we still have a buncha outs and it's the right way to play in this spot if we think we get K4 to fold sometimes.

The bad thing about this play is villain will hit and run a bunch if he wins cause he doesn't want to play a more aggressive player than himself.

So just bet/fold might be better. It usually is against unknowns you'll never see again.
