You thought we would be more receptive than 2+2? I think they hit the nail on the head. The fact that you failed at hiding your screen name is funny, and who cares if someone plays a short stack? I've done it, as have most people I know who have played poker for a long time.

Most of the shortstackers in NL50-NL100 are totally clueless and losing like 5ptbb/100 or so... I don't really understand complaining about them... Tables with a lot of short stacks are usually very profitable.
(oh btw, I'm not saying that RoSeeker would be a bad shortstacker, he probably is doing it right)

When someone is crying about those professional 25bb ratholing shortstackers at NL1k or NL2k I understand their reason for complaining. Shortstackers get unfair advantage over 100bb stacks, because they can pretty much play unexploitable push/fold strategy which is +EV against avarage 100bb players ranges. But that is not the case in micro- or smallstakes.

And most importantly, shortstacking is not cheating, shortstacking is not angle shooting, shortstacking is allowed. If someone wants to shortstack, s/he has the right to do it.

I'm not regularly viewing 6max forums but from what I understand RoSeeker has helped tons of people and been valuable for the poker community... is this how you thank him for that? He's not getting paid for giving advice on 2+2, you should be thankful that there's people like him, not bashing for something what is completely unrelevant.

Obv SS'ing is not cool in my book. It kills action, takes money from the fish, and requires little actual skill. It is clearly not illegal, but that does not mean it isn't incredibly annoying; not to mention the fact that it takes advantage of people wanting to play real stacked poker. It should be common courtesy to not SS, especially if you are Poker aware. I didn't know that RoSeeker did this, and I definitely lost some respect for him, but he is still a valuable member of the poker community.

That being said, it was pretty low of OP to make a diff account and post that thread. Ironic that making this thread is similar to SS'ing in that it isn't against any rules exactly, but it is also not cool. So people defending SS'ers shouldn't be so fast to hate on the OP. It isn't like he accused a non SS'er as a SS'er. Meh.
