Well, obviously I would bet 99 for value and not as a bluff. QQ and 99 are a bit different here imo, not sure how much. Also, I don't like checking this flop. It is multiway and I am very likely giving up as many as 12 outs. I do like a larger cbet since I won't be betting future streets. |

Sure you can get value from 8x and some PPs, but he will have you beat more often than he will call with the hands you beat. with QQ I would go check/bet/bet on this dry board because I am only scared of an ace and I he will have nothing a lot of the time so I want to give him a chance to bluff on turn and at same time control the size of the pot for the times he has a K or better. If he checks turn I would bet it (assuming it is not an ace) and if he calls then, I would bet T or lower river and proooobably just check behind J+ rivers because these fish look at their hand in absolute value and not relative value. |
