What hands is a 10/8 super tag playing by position?

If anyone has a reference to some good material that would be gr8, I play like 22/18 but thinking about playing like 20K 10/8 and just wondering what i'd be working with..

UTG...?
UTG1....?
CO....?
BTN....?

Do you have Pokerstove? If so, go in there, click on player 1, and type in 10 in the percentage field on the bottom right. Take out some of their Ax hands and add in a couple of suited connectors & pocket pairs. This will be your range for the CO.

There should be a thread in here that tells you ifyou are playing 10/8 what the button, UTG, etc, ranges are. Hmm, trying to remember which thread that was in.. let me look around for a min.

edit: I could not find that old thread. Courier Mike, if you read this can you remind us how to calculate UTG, UTG+1 VPIPs, etc off of the 10/8 overall stats.

Why would you want to play 10/8? Just learn how to play postflop.

Just look out for some hand charts for fullring and use those for the basis.

Why would you want to play 10/8 anyway? It's gonna be hard to be even breakeven when playing so nitty.

well I started out at the cash tables playing a rigid 23/18ish game.

For the last 8 weeks i've been playing 36/20/3.5 @2.04BB over 29K which isnt a great sample but i'm happy with the way its improved my post flop play. its has however completely changed my game so I want to nit up a little to see if i can.

Going to play some stints at 10/8 & 14/12... maybe 50k in total.. I see no harm in and it can only be good for changing gears in future. As you'll know finding hand chart info is a tedious process hence the thread.

PLS NOTE: you did ask, so I did tell... uknow my threads aint exactly typical discussions.

36/20 is too passive IMO.
