PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

CO ($5.45)
Button ($3.74)
SB ($3.57)
Hero (BB) ($10)
UTG ($4.57)
MP ($18.29)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, A
1 fold, MP bets $0.15, 2 folds, SB calls $0.13, Hero raises to $0.65, MP calls $0.50, 1 fold

Flop: ($1.45) 8, 5, 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $1, MP calls $1

Turn: ($3.45) J (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks

River: ($3.45) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks

Total pot: $3.45 | Rake: $0.15

Is a cbet a good idea on a flop like this?
What about the turn/river? Should I bet the river? Im thinking it doesn't complete any draws, but it's not a scarry card and he'll still call with a poket pair

edit:added another hand

Hand 1:

paired boards are good spots to cbet. FWIW, I cannot provide an example why one should not cbet on a flop like 885...

The question is how loose MP's open-raise range. If he plays like 78/5 then I wouldn't 3bet at all pre...

As played, the rest depends on his tendencies and perceived range, you can barrel turn (deepstacked, right?), you can 3barrel him, or check down as you did if it seems you're beat and he won't fold anything. I think bet-check-bet line is not good, FWIW

Hand 2:

Again, it depends on SB's type - what he usually donks with?

BUT, in general, it's a perfect spot to put a healthy raise and see him folding very often. His bet very rarely reps a good hand, it is either a weak pair or a draw or A4s-like. I expect that noone will found a fold here

Hand 1: Do not barrel turn. There are no better hands that fold, and we may have the best hand or may improve to it.

Hand 2: float/peeling is okay, folding is also, but this depends on reads. I would tend to think he has a marginal pocket pair here and either float or raise the flop, since he small-raised and then flatted your 3bet.

He may also have AJ QJ type hands, though, so I would give up quickly after, though I -may- double barrel as there are no draws so our hand look strong. Fairly read dependent.

Folding would be fine.

For what it's worth, you need to 3bet much larger.
