Default Would you raise, call or fold on the river?

Villian is running 39/23 agg. factor 2.8
he is calling preflop raises 39% of the time. Playing very loose and maniac-like all the time. I saw him double and triple barreling with very weak hands or draws and betting busted draws on the river.

No-Limit Hold'em, $0.20 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($22.32)
MP ($12.53)
Hero (CO) ($20)
Button ($27.41)
SB ($46.30)
BB ($18.02)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q, 10
1 fold, MP calls $0.20, Hero bets $0.90, Button calls $0.90, 3 folds

Flop: ($2.30) Q, 7, 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $1.72, Hero calls $1.72

Turn: ($5.74) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $2.87, Hero calls $2.87

River: ($11.48) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $13, Hero raises $14.51 (All-In), Button calls $1.51

Total pot: $40.50

Results below:
Button had J, 10 (straight, Queen high).
Hero had Q, 10 (one pair, Queens).
Outcome: Button won $38.50

....and what do you think about villian just calling my preflop Raise, betting only 75% of the pot on the flop and only 1/2 pot on the turn and then slightly overbetting the pot on the river? Propably a tell, that he hit a big hand there?

Fold river and definitely not shove. Don't post bad beats.

Why did you check flop?

Why did you raise river?

+1 on this one. If you are going to raise QTo then you have to cbet this flop w/ top pair.

I think check-calling line is not bad here, yes it's not wonderful (guessing game all the way) but he described villain as maniac who will very likely bet himself when you check, or raise when you cbet. The hero's hand is not strong enough for both lines, but I prefer lesser risk/variance.

Actually, villain did here what he was supposed to do - kept giving as much money as this hand probably worths. The river is bad though, it is good if you have a read on betsizing when he hit or missed... On this board, I think he either hits 2pair/straight the majority of the time or slowplayed QQ+. IMO, you could call a bet of that size if the river blanked.

Yes, that is why i just checked the flop, Villian was playing like a maniac all the time and in my opinion he would have fire 2 or 3 barrels anyway... BUT his range would be much wider and weaker with more hands i beat when i just check-call. check-call check-call down to the river. When i c-bet, get raised and call him down to river as above after him raising me on the flop, his range would contain more stronger hands than weaker ones. I thought i could gain more equity by just check-calling the flop and exploit his tendency playing too aggressiv.

Thank you for all your replies.

If he's way overaggro, I kinda like check-calling 3 streets as preflop raiser...

I'd fold the river when he overbets, regardless.
