The best line here depends on how our are opponents playing.

Against unknowns and aggressive players, I prefer a check/call on the flop and most turns. If we know our opponents are passive, I prefer value betting.

Check/raising here would be pretty bad because it folds out all bluffs and generally only gets called or reraised by better hands. It's hard to imagine that we would be getting it in good here unless someone spews with an unlikely 87 or 86.

shoving a hand like 78 as a bluff is not THAT spewey with that many outs, but anyway, I agree essentially. I think c/c is fine, although leading is okay because you would hate to get this checked through 3way where your opponents have a bunch of gutshots and overcards even with an ATC range.

I did c/c, turn was A and i made mistake and now lead out with 2/3 pot. BB folded and CO called.
River was 3 and I thought that there is no way I can make him fold an ace so we both checked.
