NL50: strange spot with AK

Yeah, I'm 100% sure the "monsters under the bed" is my diagnosis, no joke...

But, what I always have trouble getting, is to play like "I'll spew my money until he stacks me for the 1st time, and then there will be another game". In this case, if I 3bet pre and he 4bets (any amount) do you think I'm ever ahead?! Well, this is NL50 after all, in my experience preflop stack-off ranges are definitely tighter than NL200-400 etc. He might just misclicked, or put such a raise with 72o, who knows, but I feel more simple explanation is he just hit a monster.
