villain is playing a fairly loose passive style so far. 28/8/2.2

I think I have to bet again here. He could have floated light and a chk just invites a bet so gonna be folding the best hand alot. I b/f, or bet c/f river. Its too soon to give up I think

I don't think there's a lot of floating in 3bet pots on boards like this going on at 10NL, and OP said that villain is passive, so if he did call the flop light, he's not likely to bet the turn.

Ok well maybe I mean he called with nothing or a weak hand like a Q or a 10 instead of intentionally 'floating'. I said would bet the turn again and fold to a raise, or if called then c/f the river.

yea you have to c/r to any reasonable sized bet, you cant beat anything

c/f the turn is the best play, I think.
If you bet the turn you might fold some afraid A or something, but not very often! Most of the time you're just giving your money away, if you double barrel here /w KK.

I agree. He could easily float flop bet with QJ/KJ trying to either spike a J or hit his gutshot.
