Any thoughts on how I should play this better?

thx 4 quick reply, so you don't play this more concervatively? I've been in such a suuuper downswing lately that i was realy beginning to think that these plays where incorrect...

Nah, just be happy, that you got it in on the flop! You loose muuuch equity, if you wait for the turn.
You had the nutflushdraw with 2 overcards and a gutshot:

You're running 50:50 against his pp range; even if he hit his set you have a lot of outs!

Nice hand. There is no reason to play conservatively with a gutshot, the nut flush draw, and 2 overs.
