1st Hand: Raise or fold this flop or call to float him, but do not call, to hit your J or T. After you hit, I think it's ok to call down, cause you have showdown value. Hand 2: I think, I just raise him here and make it about 0.65$ or so, so you know where you stand. If he calls, I'm done with the hand without any history and reads. |

First hand you should really just fold on the flop. Once you hit the jack calling down is best though. Second hand you can fold or call, I prefer a fold. "Raising to see where you stand" is bad like 99% of the time, and it's bad here. You should raise for value or not raise at all. Since you're not in very good shape against an UTG opening range even on this flop I think it's just best to dump the nines. |

I think, that calling in the second hand is the worst option. You could do it maybe 10-15% of the time, but with a raise you should fold TT or any Ax-combination or something like QJ or JT. Well, and calling here really smells like a small pp, that will fold to a double barrel most of the time. Well, and because most people on that limit just play their own hands, see it that way: He just does not have a K often here and if you raise, you know it absolutly for sure, that you are beat, if he calls. |

I don't think an unknown $.02/$.04 player even thinks about opponents' hand ranges, but if he does, I bet he's not very good at it. |

I want to fold Ax, QJ or JT, cause they have 12%-24% equity against my hand, if you do not bet the turn. If you bet the turn, they have about 6%-13%, but why not raise the flop, where you have more fold equity? That does not keep him from shooting another barrel. As I remeber playing these stakes, people just bluff if you show weakness and calling is weakness for them. So they don't even think, that you could hold a pp, they just bluff.
