If you think you're ahead of his preflop 4betting range, just shove preflop. Now AQ and TT beat you. Just fold.

Did people start 4betting that light, that 5bet-shoving JJ pre = +EV? Just curious, cause I fold here most of the time preflop without history (if this is my 3rd resteal or so, I'm much more likely to play back). You have no odds to setmine and a lot of reverse implied odds, if he has us beat + we are oop.

I'm snapfolding this at 10NL without reads or history, even with stats that indicate that villain is aggressive preflop, and even though it's button vs. blind. I figured that OP must have thought that he was ahead of villain's 4betting range (I don't have enough information to agree or disagree with that thought, although I would guess that it's probably wrong), and I was just suggesting that if he wanted to continue with the hand, 5bet shoving is better than calling the 4bet.

Oh, I misread your post xD Sry 4 that!
But as long as you don't 5bet shove JJ, everything is ok

This really depends on reads, but I would say this is a fold/shove situation preflop. I don't really like calling a 4-bet. Since you did call this was a pretty good flop so I think you'll just have to go with it. People just don't 4-bet AQ very often, so his range is QQ+/AK...

Usually this is a fold pre-flop though.

I don't think you can weight AK that heavily in villain's range after he cbets. Lots of villains c/f whiffed AK after their preflop 4bet is called.
