I tried a blocking bet on the river but did not know how much to make it...

kinda confused as to why you choose to fire all 3 streets probably a c/c or even c/f on turn or river would have been better. Blocking bet was probably just a little on the high side, half pot suffices or often even less, i personally would have bet like 8-10 and folded to a raised

I hear bet for value all the time in your low stakes vids. Guess thats why.. but i understand why i should have check, called or check, folded the turn. Thx

I think I mess this up in this spot a lot as well. I think oooo, a scare card, let me bet it, but I have showdown value here and I think that the check on the turn is right. Not betting the river at all here once I get called on the turn.

Betting the turn is pretty iffy. I like a c/c on the turn more I think since a bet kind of turns the hand into a bluff. As played there is absolutely no reason to blocking bet the river (and your blocker bet was too big anyway)... what exactly are you trying to get value from? Really all that's going to happen is an ace might not raise you. Check/fold is what you should do on the river unless he bets super small.
