I just limped in as I like them suited to raise - he limp raised then he checked - if he had put a proper raise in on the flop I would of folded though, as i only had a mid pair, but I hit two pair - was I right to push Party Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.02/$0.04 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $8.00 UTG+1: $1.69 CO: $1.55 Hero: $5.26 SB: $11.40 BB: $5.19 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with :8c :9s UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, CO folds, Hero calls, SB calls, BB checks. Hand 1: Preflop is kinda meh. I'm not a fan of unsuited connectors, but you're on the button, so maybe you flop something; no big deal either way. I'm not betting that flop against darn near the whole table. The board moderatley wet and we've got second pair with a meh kicker. I'd bet this if we were somehow in this position two or three handed, but not 5. I'd check behind to see if we hit something. When we get mincheckraised, I'm probably dumping it, although I hate folding to minraises. Turn is good. River is pretty good up until the shove. I'm just calling the 3bet by the BB, because I don't see us getting called by worse or folding out better by our shove. (I'd be wrong in this case, but I still don't think it happens often.) Hand 2: Preflop is a touch aggressive, but I don't know how NL4 plays, so really can't comment too much on that. Flop is fine. Turn I think you might can find a fold here, though I'd probably peel myself, depending on whether or not the villian is aggro or a station. We have twelve outs so we need to win another 1.25 or so off the villain on the river if we hit to justify a call. River I'm betting out. We get there, and villain is not likely betting out here with a naked king, so we need to bet to extract value. I'm leading out for 1/3 - 1/2 pot here, probably $2 dollars and probably calling a shove, though we are deep.... that depends on villain really. Just my $0.02. Cheers, TRW |

Hand 1: I think, I just fold preflop on that limit, with a oc. Betting the flop is ok imo, cause you will get called by draws and it's quite unlikely that sb has a J, cause nobody has bet. I might bet here quite often, just to protect my hand against overcards or bad draws. I call his minraise, to see what he does on the turn. On the river I just call his 3bet. Hand 2: Why did you minbet the flop? If you want to make a semi-bluff MAKE a semibluff or if you want to check, check, but don't do something in between. I think, that I raise him on the turn. He just looks sooo weak: He minraises you on a wet board and now only bets half pot. So I make it 3.5$ and shove the river or something, if I hit. |

Thanks again guys - it was not a min bet i think the stake came out wrong when i coverted the hand it was $.40 not $0.04 - see total pot. hand one I think I was lucky - I should of just called the river. hand two it was a tight table so I raised 1st in and hit the flop nicely with my flush draw and then better still after the turn card should of put in a about a $1.50 $2 bet on the river I reckon.
