I'm going to guesstimate that you've got 7 outs on average so about 30% equity. You're getting something like 4.2 to 1 so I guess it's a call.

I'm notoriously bad at math so hopefully I didn't do anything stupid.

In a game I'd be snap calling. I don't like to exert myself too much by doing complicated maths.

I check back this flop. Once you cbet, you have to call the shove due to stack sizes.

Why exactly are we checking behind when we flop a gutshot w/2 overs in a 3-bet pot?

To see a free card, to hit one of our outs + to see, what he does on the turn, cause I think, that on that limit his 3bet calling range should be a pp or stong A. And we can still get rid of the small pp on the turn, cause he is likely to check again.
