Default Was this the right call - tight table though

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.02/$0.04
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $4.98
Hero: $9.70
CO: $4.98
Button: $5.11
SB: $5.35
BB: $4.57

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with :td :jc
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.14, CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls.

Flop: :5c :9c :tc ($0.44, 3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.44, Button raises to $2.44, BB folds, Hero raises all-in $9.12, Button calls.

Turn: :4h ($0.44, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $0.44)


River: :6c ($0.44, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $0.44)


Results:
Final pot: $0.44
Button shows Jh Jd

I really don't like your flop shove. I think you're rarely folding out better hands or getting called by worse hands. You're barely ahead of a naked Q, K, or A of clubs.

Raising TJo from UTG+1 isnt really a tight game which you need to play at these limits. I would fold it preflop.

As played: fold to the button raise. He has you definetely beat and you shove?? Why? You have top pair weak kicker?? Which worse is going to call you?

I have gone over this hand a few times and it is a TERRIBLE play - when i say tight table, there were so many folds to the bb is was unreal. So I thought lets open up a bit - I do not normally open with TJo UTG+1

Also thanks again for all the comments - appreciated by a noob like me

I think if you're suited a PF raise in the hijack isn't bad, sometimes. But unsuited I'd lean more towards folding this, and maybe take a stab with it once in a while.

You have to figure you're beat when he raises this flop and should fold.
