Default NL 20 - Turned top two.. facing shove

Pre-flop: ($0.30, 5 players) Hero is UTG T:diamond: K:spade:
Hero calls $0.20, stryke-fear calls $0.20, 2 folds, Avago69 checks

Flop: 8:heart: T:club: 6:spade: ($0.70, 3 players)
Avago69 checks, Hero bets $0.40, stryke-fear calls $0.40, Avago69 folds

Turn: K:club: ($1.50, 2 players)

River: 5:heart: ($32.38, 2 players)

Final Pot: $32.38

stryke-fear shows: 9:club: 7:diamond:

stryke-fear wins $30.45 ( won +$14.41 )

Should I fold pre? if I play should I raise pre?

All the problems came from limping I think

Hand one, never limp there pf. fold or raise. The turn is just a huge overshove the absolute minimum he shows up here with is a set, but almost always the nutz he just bets too much on the turn.

Yea, you really shouldn't be limping there. You should check out a few of the micro stakes videos loltrickedu and myself have made that go over some of these concepts. A great one that people enjoyed was Trik31. It was made for losing or breakeven players and regarldess if you win even, it still goes over a lot of the fundamental concepts for the micro stakes games.

Default Bad hand

So I think that basically I should only play hands like this only IP and fold marginal hands similar to this UTG, UTG+1 and in EP and only play this range in the CO or the BTN

Check out weaktight | Acombfosho for more hands

I think the massive overbet always, always signifies the nuts, or near nuts at this level. The limp with KTo is dubious I think and when everyone else limps doesn't give you anything to go on. i have decreased my limp frequency by a massive amount and have found it keeps me out of a lot of super tricky spots.

I am tending now to only limp in later positions with suited aces and connectors if a bunch of people have limped before me. No limpers and I am raising these same hands if the conditions are right.

Acombfosho, I think it is pretty much accepted by this community that if you are entering a pot first in, you should be raising (at least shorthanded, I can't speak of full ring). If you can't raise it first in, fold it.
