The way my month has gone, I'm trying to review all situations equally. Never hurts to get confirmation that you are doing the right thing

Call obviously. Realize that a lot of players won't actually shove 44 here because, well why would they? They would rather slowplay it. This situation is really easy because you have AK, but this applies if you have AQ/AJ as well. I would make the call a bit lighter than normal a lot here.

Agreed. I played this hand yesterday:

Party Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BTN: $49.25
SB: $50
BB: $49.75
UTG: $53.70
Hero (CO): $90.85

Pre-Flop: dealt to Hero (CO)
3 folds, UTG calls $0.25, Hero raises to $2, UTG calls $1.50

Flop: ($4) (2 Players)
UTG bets $51.70 and is All-In, Hero calls $51.70

Turn: ($107.40) [ ] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

River: ($107.40) [ ] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $107.40 Pot ($2 Rake)
UTG showed and LOST (-$53.70 NET)
Hero showed and WON $105.40 (+$51.70 NET)

Yea that's a perfect example. It's almost always some sort of weird mid pair or drawing hand. Realize that these players aren't trying to level you to the 8th degree. They want you to fold by shoving so much so you should lean towards calling. If they flop sets, they don't want to scare you away so they check/call, then normally check/minraise the turn.

as above snap call. Perfect example of what ive been thinking about alot latly in 50NL.

Opponent shoves when he wants you to fold, smallish value bets when he wants you to call.
