BB has been fairly tight but aggressive when he plays. Not sure how to handle AKs here. First, should I have four bet preflop? I'm thinking so since I was 60-40 against most 3bet hands, but calling the 3bet seemed reasonable. Second, post flop shove or fold? If you call pre, you should fold on this board. Now, is it better to call or 4-bet preflop ? 1st of all, he raised a really solid amount (20 BBs), which is way more than pot size, maybe it's a tell (AA, KK ?), maybe it's his standard 3-bet size from the blinds. Then, if you just call, you won't hit 2/3 of the time and are out of position, so you're gonna lose the pot so often. And if you hit and he has a hand that you beat (JJ, QQ ...), most of the time, you won't get that much action. So 4-bet !! |
