Default Hooked on Rush SNG's

After taking a long hiatus from playing, I've gotten back into playing MTT SNG's. I've always preferred these over cash games and going to be rebuilding my bankroll after cashing everything out. When FT came out with the 135man rush trny's, I began playing them as they only take about 1.5hrs to complete. So far so good. I've gotten in about 175 so far with a 60% ROI. There are some sick sick beats in these things, but the play is absolutely horrid! Loving them for the time being while they are new and the fishies are getting their fix. Once I get a decent bankroll, hoping to start playing regular mtt's.

(Thought this forum needed some activity too as well as a veiled brag)

Just a quick update on this. 219 total played. I was hoping to keep the roi steady over time, but this did not hold true in the last ~40.

It got BETTER

82.1% ROI

I just wish I could figure out how to play more than 4 of these at a time. There are quite a few huge grinders at the 2 and 4 180's on stars but they can 15-20 table them. With the rush structure, I have to see each table as my hands are dealt and I can't fit 6 of them at a time without overlap without making them too small to view. We will see how things are after 500 or so. I really think these are sustainable at 65-70% ROI, possibly higher for the really good players.

Thanks pod. While I won't be playing much in the way of cash games, I'm hoping that I can start to build the MTT forum up a bit.

I asked Tilt to freeze my acc coz they wouldnt give me rakeback I want to play rush.

I thought telling them I was going perma stars would sway them, but still no rakeback offer.

I can't understand why FT prefer to lose a player rather than give him rakeback, but this seems to be true...

I totally agree with this statement, but unfortunately it does hold true quite often. I think in the long run, they know that most truly won't disappear from the site.

Getting back on topic a bit, I went through my largest downswing in terms of buyins for trny's playing this stupid things Was close to a 100bi downswing. The beats are incredible and I would say I was getting my money in good 85% of those beats. Things are beginning to turn back around (hopefully) after a few days off.

Current Tally:

352 played
ROI: 55.5%
Total won: $859.41

Ugh... don't quite get how you happen to lose ~100BI and still win 800 bucks? Did you lose more than 100 tourneys in a row, and recently patched all losses plus won on top of that? How much is the BI btw?

Basically I have no idea about these games, played MTT like a couple of times a year ago

Yes, I had gone down roughly 100 buyins. These are $4.40 bi trny's, so I went on a ~$400 down swing after being up ~$1k. I've rebounded from that low and climbing back up to that $1k mark again.
