If i had a blog it would go there however i dont so read if you want or not.
So last night there wasnt much going on so after i went to the bar with a few friends and played some darts i decided to go out to the casino to play some live poker. I hadn't played live in a while and i have a cali and vegas trip coming up so i thought i should get some practice in. Plus i had 15$ in free slot play and a free meal that expired soon so meh might as well use it.
So i get there and get on the 5-10 list and looks pretty juicy, however takes forever to get into live games often so i went to use my free slot play. Ive never put my own money in a slot machine so i didnt know what i was doing. I found a slot and put it the ticket in and began spinning max credit. After about half was gone some how i won. So basically i had more credits then i started with so i decided to cash out, amazingly up $50.75, ship it!!!
So i grabbed my food and my seat was ready, no spectacular hands really i bluffed alot, live players are so easy to read imo. Anyway i took some beats but after like 5 hours of play i was up $450, i really only wanted benjamins so i took the 50 to one hand of bj, i got a 20 and won, ship it!!! The real point was that i was thinking about the money, because $400-$500 really doesnt matter to me and i felt like i wasted time only making that much. But then i got to thinking about the real world, if i worked all day and made $400 that would be a job at $50/hr. Which is a very nice job $50/hr for the year ~2000 hrs would give a wage of $100,000 very very nice. Not to mention i was not taxed and that 100k is. I don't really know what my point is but basically i have an immature disregard for money sometimes and don't look at what i have and respect it enough.
So after all that the night before i get up today ~1pm and hope online for a session. The 2/4 tables look decent and there is one 3/6 that is juicy and going. The new wait list for cake sucks alot so it takes me forever to get any 2/4 tables. So before i even get any i have $~1800 on the 3/6. Mostly from this:
Cake Poker people r so bad. I play for like 10 more minutes and am up ~$1400 after 30 min of play and 120 hands. $1400 for 120 hands was pretty sweet. Basically i just quit and am going to watch the Nebraska game and get some drinks/food. I think you can make alot more online then live, maybe thats the point of this entry? I'm not really sure. But gl at the tables guy see you around.
-I just realized i started off every paragraph with "So," so im sorry im a bad writer, so im going to go, so i can drink, so have fun, so later.
