Default Beat: Idiot chases away maniac

Have you ever had this happen?

50nl - A very loose player who I have labeled as easy money goes on super monkey tilt and starts shoving ATC. After about 2 rounds of this, cue prideful dumbass who says "if you want to gamble go play blackjack". He then proceeds to go back and forth with the guy where finally the maniac leaves to prove a point. Of course I didn't get shit for cards after about 10 rounds of him shoving every hand. My plan was to call with 88+ and AQ+

I normally don't do this but I let into the idiot that chased him away. He still thought he was right and didn't do anything wrong. He wanted to "play poker" and not gamble. I mean just let go of your ego and laugh your way to the bank.

Edit: Oops I meant to do this in the poker forum

I find the people that rant about bad players funny. What type of players are they wanting to play, those that dominate them by playing good poker or those who push ATC and are super +ev.

Such retards.

He really shoved ATC?
I would call a way wider range, than 88+ and AQ+.
Maybe something like:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 35.866% 34.79% 01.07% 191210222708 5894174052.00 { random }
Hand 1: 64.134% 63.06% 01.07% 346565397988 5894174052.00 { 66+, A2s+, K9s+, QTs+, JTs, A7o+, KTo+, QJo }

Hey guys. there's one thing though to add here. If he is pushing full stack ATC it's a huge variance game. And you won't be happy if somehow he wins several all-ins in a row and sucks out on you a couple of time. Sure it is +ev game. But when I play I like to play, not to gamble.

Well then the guy could have left. Not stay and cause the maniac to leave. I don't consider waiting for a 70/30 to be gambling.

Eh I'm not looking to get it in with 60/40.

I don't know if you're talking to me or not. I guess now that I look at it AQ is lower than 65% so I guess I was looking to get it in ~65/35 full stacked. As we get deeper I'll probably up the requirements to 70/30 if not higher. I'm still pretty pissed I didn't get any hands, best one I got was ATo.

As long as my BR can afford it, I gamble 1kk+ deep with you, if I have a 60/40 edge ^^ Imo, you should move down in limits, if you do not want to get it in as a 60% favourite 200BB deep in a cashgame

If you really push ATC and always reload, I would even get it in /w a 55 edge = 70% of my hands in HU xD I really have no problem /w 'gambling' as long as I have a edge and I really can afford it.
I'm a bit tighter here, since somebody could wake up /w a monster and I want to compensate for this a little.
