Thats what you get for not cbetting and betting so low on the turn.

Pretty sick hand though.

Maybe if you cbetted, he woulda reraised and you coulda let this hand go.

a cbet here accomplishes nothing, i'm getting called by better, raised by better, and folding worse. on the turn i really don't see any hand that beats me so why not value bet to try get a call from a king

He can fold better: Weak kings, 88-QQ possibly.
When he raises better: You SHOULD be folding. Find out where you are in the hand.

You should CBET any Ace high board 95% of the time.

If you didn't turn a 7, how would you be playing this? Checking down to showdown? Since you say betting only gets action from better, and u fold out worse...

Cbetting in this situation is probably marginally +EV, but I definitely don't think that checking behind the flop is the huge mistake that others apparently do.

Agreed, it's not a big mistake, but it's +ev.
