Bad Variance - $10NL people unite

Ever feel you're too smart for people at the table? Lately I've been getting OWNED by some crazy retard calls. I've lost $30ish (which is a lot for the time I've put in trying to recover). But I've repeatedly been sucked out on in 3bet pots and my Aces and Kings haven't been holding up. And people get some sick river cards

I've had ZERO action from KK or AA (except when I get sucked out on) and I'm getting them in early position and raising what I normally get...

Who else is getting owned by their variance? I think I'm making the move to $25NL

Re-gained my losses and doubled up within 30 minutes of play

moving to NL25 won't complete anything. short term is nothing, make right decisions and learn to fold your top pair to strong resistance.
Make notes on your opponents. these ATC donks are usually quite passive unless they hit strong. and major mistake, don't consider yourself better then them, play A game and you will see the result.
when you have large sample size with decent winrate or close to 20BI at NL10 then move to NL25 otherwise read the post where my BR is almost 0.

Well, I'm at $220 now and I have $630 on Bodog (both from playing 10NL). What SUCKS is my play has been solid and I should be up $50ish from 10NL, but I've just been had by some donkeys... I'm not talking about top pair only situations either... In addition, I'm never able to get my revenge against them in a hand -- The situation never comes up most of the time.

I also have only played 9-person full-ring games... Maybe I should move over to 6-player?

this is what I noticed playing 9 people. if you have top premium pair and you are early position you get beat a lot more then you win unless someone behind you reraises giving you chance to ISOlate there. As been said AA against 3players is not or slightly favourite.
SO the way to make money at full ring is like in limit games sets, s8s,flushes, FH. TPTK is even. At 6max dynamic is different and more entertaining. Just the way how you like to play it.
Bodog is soft, but has not enough tables, and with time you start to play against all the same opponents and it sucks. Cash out though is pretty good with $35 fee - 24hours.
Now, don't think that you won't meet ATC donks at higher levels, just watch several NL20-25 vids to see by yourself, and in reality this is your ATM = ATC donks Bodog sucks - 4 tables at a time, no more, no rb either.
taking a shot with $220 at NL25 is spewy IMO, it can go both ways. But you get sucked out a couple of times + tilt you can go 4BI down.

Well, I'm hoping the case is that I'm ready. I've been losing, but my play has been good. The $220 is from $5 and the $630 is from $25. So to say the least I think I'm ready because I've been playing long enough.

More than likely I'm going to do 2-tables of 25NL instead of 4 10NL.

Good luck! I really hope 2 tabling out of your BR limit works out for you... it sure didnt for me.. You can check out my thread about donking down to 10NL... Your thought process is exactly what I was thinking. Now Im grinding at 10NL.. maybe you should just play more tables.. Im playing 12.. it seems to work out. you dont care so much about the suckouts cuz they happen. at all the micro stake limits.

I was talking about 25NL on my Bodog bankroll if that helps.... Much deeper there . I can't imagine playing 12 tables... That would blow my skull in terms of being able to keep up.

Yep, just variance. I've been favored in all my hands, they just haven't held their own... Sadly.
