Default my goal changed and hopefully for good

Hi guys
One of the posts was recently about everyone goal for December. UNfortunately I couldn't get any rakeback from AP/UB, cause I was signed to these sites through(kick me hard ) PSO site. No rakeback provided there. So I was grinding my PS at NL2 and watching videos and learning. I used to play at higher limits, but unfortunately had to withdraw my full bankroll and leave only $40. One thing I may say when you move in limits and then go up again you have to reach level of full comfortability first.
So I decided to do something different from 20/17 rule.
Pretty much it is the same but in different format.
I will be moving one level up as soon as I reach 20BI
We all know that NL2 is level for kids and is easy to beat, but I found several things that I was working on for a while. You should be more aware with bunch of limp callers or cold callers when you have premiums or so. But it happens even at higher stakes.
So for a while I was grinding NL2 with pretty decent winrate 15-20BB/100.
so step 1: 20BI at NL2 , currently 12BI up. and BR $153.63
hopefully tomorrow step 2
Bad thing I don't have RB on PS either but I use FPPs to get tourney money on reg basis, and then transfer them in bigger money.
and I'm complete nit when it comes to BR or may be I can't just afford to gamble right now.
And right now I'll be playing a lot trying to get as many buy-ins as possible per day.

You don't need 20bi for the "next" level if you have played and beaten it over a decent sample before. With $153 I would play 10NL with 1 20NL table mixed in.

the reason I'm doing it is: just want to move to each level regardless at 20BI earned.

But if you want to do it faster 20/17 is the way.
a couple more BI levels left for Nl5

Yeah i guess that is a good idea, then you can say you have successfully beaten every single level.

little update level 1 is completed

level 2 NL5 is ahead.
if drop 3BI move back to NL2.
hope I can clear that level within 2 days too, but we'll see.

attached some of my stats - I'm nit tight preflop, limp spp from early positions.
But when I looked at my positional stats I was + on all levels except one where I just lost with AA and AK preflop.

current BR: $170.73 lol

step 2 started. 1 1/2 already up 212 hands 32BB/100 in RealTimeHUD
could 3 buy ins up but got stubborn with JJ as overpair on drawheavy board. lesson learned - when you know that you are beat, please fold your pairs, overpairs, 2pairs and so on.
It is called "Curiousity TILT"
next session in 15 min
BR: $178

Also that's how I play: I look for tables with highest VPIP, trying to fing evenly stacked tables, BUT no more then 1 DeepStacker. These guys are calling, raising really big and if they have position on you are killing your winrate.
Also I leave the table after double up or 70BB.
I'm building and I'm not trying to maximize my winnig, but minimize my losses to suck outs or bad beats.

One more thing on my session time: as I'm building I'm playing session to win
when I win 1BI or 2BIs I leave the tables and go read forums, watch videos. it can take 10 mins, or 1 hour or more. If session started bad I still play till I get 1BI or at least 1/2buy in(if still behind might quit after 90mins). The reason behind this is when you play and start making money, you begin to feel overconfident and loose up your play significantly. Sometimes it works. sometimes it's not. As it is one more time building process no SOMETIMES is allowed.

amazing how tight you can play and still crush. Nicely done, but as you move up (around 25nl) you will need to start playing more hands.

yeah MXRider. I will start to adjust as soon as I have to, right now not that much of a need.

Another session 4/5BI 1000 hands at 5pbb/100. Started 1.5BI down withd AK making 4bet shove preflop against small stacks - unfortunately lost 3 of them in this session. But will do it against these shorties, not against big stacks, another was KK against 60 BB he shoved on the flop with FD+OESD - I'm not folding and he called my big 3bet with 7h8h oop - he raised to $0.15 I reraised to $0.60 - 4x IP OTB
another lesson learned: I'm BB with Q9o. board comes Q high. rule is bet and fold against resistance, but "again" Shortie reraised and so I shoved and he woke up with set of 5 on me.

May be will put another session today, cause tomorrow to many things to do and celebrate.
so far 2 days 5900 hands and growing bigger

current BR: $180.93
