Default I'm on the worst swing....

Let me rant please....

Okay... So... Basically I've been drawn out on and lost a lot of money... I haven't liked my play either... My play has been terrilble, my Cbets have sucked.... I turned $5 into $400, and I dropped like a ROCK from there...

I started at $361 today and just got owned again and again. I thought I was in bad shape when I hit $300 today... Well.. It got worse..

I was about to call it quits and goto bed... AK, got it in pre-flop and it lost to A5... Turns out he turned into a hyper-aggro who is 93/81 over 140+ hands now... He was doing nothing but raising HUGE in 25NL games and raking big pots... His 42 would be the nuts by the end of the hand... Runner-runner QQ when he needed it, had the better house (TT all in and called with TJ)... Dude was up to $128 on a 25NL table within 30 minutes.. It was ILL!

I tried to get my money in good when I was able to... I'd see a nice flop that I would like and he'd pull 2 pair out on the turn or the river... I'd get sucked out on no matter what!!!.

Saw a good flop pre with AQ, think I'm good, but I'd get owned by 82.... 82 > AQ.... Then he picked up AA when I had AQ again... Either way... I lost some buy-ins... I found him on another table and got him with AQ (fucking finally).

But I'm down to $226... VARIANCE IS A BITCH. But I was down to $170 at one point against this guy... It was sick.

Good news: In the long run -- he lost on every table he was on... So he's down about $75+ after reaching $100+++ two times.

/rant

Oh yeah... I lost a buy in to someone else on another table (dude, I've had my ass handed to me) .... So I lost 3 BI at one point on the hyper aggro table.

My bankroll numbers are off in the graph... But it's good enough... Look at my play after I hit the $400 mark ($320 on the graph) ... I need to seriously adjust.

I've NEVER lost this many buy-ins... EVER. This feels so gigantic for me. I've been playing online for 2 years.

1. Do not play underrolled, if you want to keep your poker BR??
2. Yes, there is variance in poker
3. Yes, we all run bad from time to time
4. Yes, donks can run well
5. Yes, donks lose in the longrun

Is that a shimmer of hope?

My combined total allows me to play 25NL ... But I'm heading back to 10NL until my game adjusts... I feel off my game, so I'm going to take a break and reset.

I'll be fine, it just sucks.

Honestly, you are on a downswing over 4k hands. That is like nothing. A couple coolers, and you have a downswing over that small sample.

Play 50,000 hands and come back to me.

And then i'll tell you that still isn't enough.

Go play more hands... poker has so much variance, its just a waste of time to post about downswings.

I've had 30,000 breakeven stretches, and i have heard of 50k+ ones.

You'll lose a lot more than 5.5 in your poker time, I can assure you.
