 Don't you just hate it when....
I played poker for like 2 hrs only about a buyin up playing regular tag poker then as if by magic lose 3 buyins to AA one of them i cracked with trips other with 2 pair on the flop sigh only to see them catch an A on the river or turn, all this in the space of less than 16 mins talk about running bad lol. Still i suppose thats poker for ya nvm gotta pick meself up and carry on.

Hey I definitely know that feeling. My worst short period downswing was 6 buy-ins in 45 min. I quit poker for 3 days after that.

Wow, you guys are wimps! I lost 8 buy-ins yesterday (a lot of spew lol) and didn't sweat it. Just keep on the grind. (Of course I didn't feel so bad about the 8 because I'd been winning at least 5 for a week every day before that) I've had maybe 3 or 4 10+ buy-in downswing and my std dev is like 100bb according to HEM, which is probably wrong but I'm definitely on the high end of variance.
