If MxRider hasn't radically changed his style lately, he isn't really flatcalling too much with hands other than smallish pocket pairs (from seeing his play in vids). Now that he's playing higher stakes he's probably also flatting hands like AJ, ATs, KQ etc. against LP open sometimes, but still he's a nit.
So -> I don't believe he would ever flat here with A8 of spades and it's the only hand besides sets that makes any sense for him to play like that. 3bet on the flop by villain -> BAD. Anyone agrees?
Anyway back to topic, grats MX! |
Yea, the 3 bet there doesn't seem very good. I guess if he knew that Mxrider had the nut flush draw 100% there, shoving as a 3 bet would be optimal. Of course, there would be no way to really know that.
Why is it right for MX Rider to raise there? To valuetown flush draws? and becuase they are so deep stacked?
MX rider, nice one. I am so happy that you were on the winning end of that.
