But there was a time when I had this job, and I had to be strong. OK why am I being so mysterious? I was in the military. Branch not important, I don't want to talk about it, I'm not a lifer.

Anyway, so I had this job. I had to run all the time, I had to lift very heavy objects all the time. I was a scrawny little kid, OMG I was crapping my pants all the time. I used to get super tired doing 20 sit-ups. They made us do 200 sit-ups! WTF!

But then I realized I wasn't made of glass. I lifted those heavy objects, and my body didn't break. I got stronger. I did those sit-ups, and my stomach didn't break. I ran those miles, and my lungs didn't catch on fire.

So maybe my mind won't explode if I keep playing longer. If I focus myself. If I dedicate myself. Stop being a sissy.

My mind's not going to break. I can do this!

Oh and Chinz, I did use to do the timer thing too!
You can always take short breaks, too, by sitting out for 5 minutes in a session. 5 minutes is nice if you are at some good tables because it will hold your spot.

But, yea, one step at a time. You were not doing hard physical work on day 1, it was probably more of a gradual process. Same thing with sessions. Maybe just start by trying to go a little bit past an hour when you are at a good table, or when you are feeling like you can do it one day.

I've moved up to doing 90 minute sessions all weekend! Yes! Just a little bit of spew at end... so I'll work on that for now.

I spew for no reason after an hour. 2+ hours, my brain just stops working. I have zero impulse control. It just completely short circuits. Screw playing with the fish. LOL. I AM THE FISH. This has happened so many times that I can't even get mad anymore. I don't understand it.

some of those flush draw hands were not that spew.

OOP with a flush draw, you might want to consider checking the flop. Or, you can bet the flop, check the turn. Against a lot of bad players, semibluffing is not good, especially multiple barrels.

At least you have a lot of successful sessions past the hour mark.

I'd rather just look for the occasional folds. I don't need many folds, I'm just looking for 1/3. And there are those times draw vs draw. It's almost like a protection bet against worse draws that might just hit some random offsuit pair and win on river.

Hand 2, the 3betting with the draw was bad because I didn't expect a fold. I never have fold equity vs a minraise to a kinda big cbet. I shouldn't even count my A as an out cause villain's aren't usually doing this with one pair.

Hand 3, where I bet/call turn with the draw is bad also. I'm only getting 3 to 1 (need 4 to 1 for breakeven call), again on average I'm probably up against 2 pair or TPTK type hands so the A sucks as an out. There's no profit here. This hand I need to just c/f or as sucky as it sounds, bet/fold... but I'm halfstacked, it's -EV, but not by too much.

Because I'm trying to catch a bluff?

I didn't post these hands for analysis. This is me playing bad, very, very bad. Mainly due to a long session where my brain's spent and decided to turn off for the night... but maybe my lizard brain is still on. Lizards suck at poker obviously.
