Default luck > skill

weaktight | Hand | KJo - $0.5/$1 No Limit Holdem

How many lucky coincidences you can have in one hand? I considered checking back the turn, but then I decided that it could actually be good for me, because that probably makes hands like TPGK or overpair more likely to fold to a rivershove... However, on that river I'm just hoping he has a jack... and oh yes he did!

PS. this is not strategy thread... I'm not interested in preflop play suggestions. Only thing I didn't really like is my turn betsize, which should've been few $ less to get more FE for my rivershove.

That's the sexiest thing I've heard all week.

I think it's more like the spewiest...

Anyway, I assume that I'm getting hands like overpair or TP to fold 60%+ time when I shove the river on that board, if the river is 3, 4, 5, 6 or 9... Maybe I could profitably shove A and T too, but I'm not sure if I'm valuetowning myself there too much.
