Believe me i feel your pain i remember something like this happened to me a while ago (not gonna bother looking thru hand historys!) but yeah basically i was late position with QQ, someone limped from early position folded to me i raised it up to something like 6x or 7x. Early position limper calls. Flop comes 8 J 3 rainbow, he checks i put out a big pot sized bet and he calls. River is an unassuming 7, theres enough in the pot for me to push as i dont want to see a river card and this guy instacalls.

Turns out he had 9 10 off suit to make a straight. I could not put him on that hand. Who the hell limps then calls huge raise with UN-suited connectors?? I was actually in shock, and i tilted really bad had to leave the table i was sick!

I'm sorry to break it to you but your hand is pretty standard. He hit a straight after limp-calling a pretty hand, that's happened to me dozens of times.
