Default A fresh start to rebuild a bankroll

Hello,

I am going to post my progression to rebuild a bankroll. Last week I busted my 1k bankroll at playersonly. I don't feel really sad about it, but it still sucks like hell. The positive thing is that I only deposited 50 dollar at that site but for me, 1k is still a lot of money.

Now I am going to do things a little bit different. I have deposited 25 dollar at Fulltilt and I am going to play PLO. The reason for this is that I don't have a lot of confidence in me playing NL holldem anymore. In live cash games I always have profit, but online it just won't work after a while.

I am beginning at a fresh start and hope that I could build a bankroll. It is still hard though to know that a couples of days ago I had a good bankroll and now I need to start again with only 25 dollar.

Today I played a 30 minute session PLO 2nl.
Session started: 25 dollar
Session ended: 29.82 dollar

I know this is almost the same thread that ShoveOrFold had. But I thought.. it worked for him so it could also work for me.

Not sure PLO is the best game to play with a $25 roll but good luck!

15 BI's does seem kind of small to play PLO, but I'm not an expert on it. The only hand I ever played in PLO online I flopped aces full of queens and the guy had quads, hadn't tried it again.

Then again, I've heard that PLO is the best way to build a BR through the micros.

Anyways, GL with this.

I think more cards in the hand == more profit, so good choice

How long have you played PLO before?

I made the choice of playing PLO because the people on the micros are so bad at it. They are calling with almost anything and can't fold hands. Yesterday I had two pair, Kings and Jacks on this board: A/K/Q/J/2. After the river, one player called a bet with pocket tens and 2 low cards. He thought he had a straight. I know this was risky from me, but it is an example on how players call with a hand like that only by not understanding how the game works.

I haven't played a lot PLO before. Only a couple of months I think. I hope I will build a bankroll with it. But you are right about the aspect of not having enough BI's for it. So I think that I will deposit another amount after I get my salary. I think I will deposit 30 dollar so that I have 60 dollar in total. 30 BI's could be enough for it.

Played a little session today.
Started: 29.82
Ended: 31.10

Not very much, but rather win than lose.

There's is one thing I am struggling with though. When the board is 4/A/Q/Q/Q and I have a Q with 3 low cards. What do I have then? Quads?

And what about something like this board: A/A/K/8/7 and my hand is A/2/3/4? Do I have trips then with aces with a king and four as kicker? I hope someone knows.

Good luck all..

Yes you do, Remember you HAVE TO USE TWO CARDS ALWAYS. so if you use Q-2 you have 2 Q Q Q Q which is quads.

again same thing A 4(your cards) A A K (the board)

How did you get interested in PLO? How long have you been playing it? How did you learn in? Through simple trial and error?

Always been interested in it, never really tried it.

I must say that I have never played Omaha seriously. With means of building a bankroll with it.
I only play it for a couple of months but not as much as I played NLHE.

I must say that I still haven't learned it yet because it is very different from NLHE. I only know the basics of Omaha but even with that I am struggling, as it comes to starting hands. I still don't exactly know what starting hands I should play. But the positive thing is that almost nobody of the micro players knows. So I rely on my feeling.
